Identification (I.D.) :
For general notarization, every signer must present valid (non-expired) photo identification. This identification must include a photo, physical description, signature, and serial number.
The notary will confirm the signer's identity using satisfactory identification. The following forms of identification are accepted in Florida:
- Driver License
- State Issued ID Card (Senior ID, Under 18 ID, CA ID)
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Military ID Card
- Mexican or Canadian Driver's License issued by an authorized agency
- Foreign Passport if stamped by the Immigration and Naturalization Service


Documents :
You are responsible for providing your documents, statements, forms, letters, affidavits, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directives, etc. Please fill in all blanks but do not sign or date them.
The notarial portion will be completed and provided, if necessary, during notarization. A Notary Public cannot create, modify, or offer legal advice concerning your document. If you have questions, please consult the company or agency that drafted your document, or will receive it upon completion.
Willingness & Knowledge :
Every signer must willingly sign the documents without coercion and understand the significance of the transaction.
Signers may either sign the document in the notary's presence or verbally acknowledge to the notary that they placed their signature on the document in their authorized capacity.
Ability to Communicate :
All signers must be able to communicate in English or Hebrew. If a signer does not speak English or Hebrew, notarization cannot proceed. While documents may be in any language, the notarial portion must be in English and will be provided as needed.
